About Me

Jessica Malvicino, a South Florida native, passionate about helping others. She’s a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated in 2006 with her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida International University, and in 2013 received her Master’s degree, with honors, in Mental Health Counseling, from Walden University. She has received the prestigious recognition from the National Board for Certified Counselors to be a National Certified Counselor and Subject Matter Expert for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination.  Mrs. Malvicino serves as a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors Job Analysis Task Force, and the American Counseling Association Governance and Board Operations Committee.  In 2023, her dedication to the field was further acknowledged with the Healthcare Champion Emerging Leader Award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she is a certified Level II TEAM-CBT Therapist, specializing in relationships, habits and addictions, and eating disorders.


At a very young age, 3 years old, Mrs. Malvicino began her artistic career dancing ballet. She danced with Miami City Ballet and graduated as a professional dancer from Ballet Concerto in 2003. By the time she became an adolescent she had participated in music videos with Gloria Estefan, danced with numerous known artists including Jon Secada, performed for the Cristina Saralegui Show and modeled the runways. Additionally, Jessica was the Entertainment Reporter for the television show “Paparazzi TV” aired on MegaTV, and the co-host alongside her prestigious mother, Dra. Vivian Gonzalez-Diaz, of the show “Catarsis con la Dra Vivian” for whom both currently have a podcast named “Esto es una Catarsis”.


Mrs. Malvicino is a huge advocate for children, and women with fertility problems. She is a Guardian Angel of the Holtz Children’s Hospital of Jackson Health Foundation and participates in numerous community events. Mrs. Malvicino is dedicated to her profession and passion for the industry. She loves to make a difference in every individual’s life she encounters; and has made it a purpose of her goals. She provides support to her team through her leadership skills and human qualities.
